²³ To top off all your wickedness—how bad it will be for you, I, the Eternal Lord, promise you— ²⁴ you built yourselves sacred sites and put lofty shrines in every public square. ²⁵ You put them on every street corner and degraded your priceless beauty, opening yourself up wide to every man who passed by to add yet another lover.
